Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the CamScannerOnline website handles information. It is written from what this site actually does. It does not name a company, a registered address, or a court, because those details have not been provided.
Last updated: 20 October 2026.
The scanning tool
CamScannerOnline is a browser tool for turning photos of documents into scans. You can choose a JPG, JPEG, or PNG image, or take a photo with your camera. You can straighten a page, adjust corners, rotate a page, reorder or delete pages, apply an image mode, and download a PDF or images.
Document images you select or capture for scanning are processed in your browser. The scanning workflow does not upload those images to this website’s server to scan them, store them, or build the download. The pages you are editing stay in that browser session. Refreshing the page or leaving it can remove that work.
That local processing does not mean the website collects no information at all. Visiting the site and emailing support are separate from the scan itself.
Visiting the website
The public pages are served by WordPress. The server in front of the site can keep ordinary access logs. Those logs commonly include an IP address, the date and time, the address you requested, and information about your browser. This policy does not state how long those logs are kept or where they are stored. That depends on the host, and a retention period has not been set here.
The public theme and the document scanner do not load an analytics service, an advertising service, or a tag manager. Fonts used by the theme are files on this website, not a third-party font service.
The scanner does not save document images in cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage. WordPress can set cookies when someone signs in to the administration area. Those cookies are for managing the site. They are not part of scanning a document.
If you write to support@camscanneronline.com, you choose the address and the message you send. That message is used to read your request and reply. Requests can be about scanning, exporting a file, privacy, or a general suggestion. This site does not state which email provider stores the message or how long it is kept, because that has not been confirmed.
Choices and requests
You can stop using the scanner, avoid sending email, and clear this site’s data in your browser. If the law where you live gives you a right to ask about personal information, you can write to the email address above. This page does not promise a response deadline, a formal deletion process, or compliance with a named privacy law. Those details need the operator’s location and practices, which are not confirmed here.
