Terms of Use
These terms explain how to use the CamScannerOnline website and its browser scanning tool. They do not name a governing law or a court, because that information has not been provided.
Using the tool
You can use the tool to process documents you have the right to use. You are responsible for having permission to scan, edit, and download the material, including text, images, signatures, and pages that belong to someone else.
The current scanner accepts JPG, JPEG, and PNG images, up to 20 MB each, and up to 30 pages in one document. The camera works only in browsers that allow camera access, which usually requires a secure connection. These limits can change if the tool changes.
A scan depends on the light, the photo, the text, and the image processing. Check the text, signatures, tables, page order, and the downloaded file before you rely on it or send it to someone else.
The service
The website and the tool may be updated, maintained, or unavailable for a time. A feature that exists today may work differently later.
Do not misuse the site. Do not try to break, overload, or interfere with it, and do not use it in a way that infringes someone else’s rights.
Your files
Your original documents and the files you export remain yours to deal with. The site does not claim ownership of them because you used the tool.
Limits
The tool is offered as it is available. It may produce a result that differs from the paper page, and it may fail in a particular browser. This does not try to remove rights that the law where you live does not allow to be removed. It also does not promise that a scan will be accepted for a legal, administrative, or official purpose.
